How It All Began

Aarshaveda didn't just happen. From the very beginning, we knew what we wanted to do: bring honest, powerful Ayurveda to people everywhere. It wasn't some chance discovery or side project. This was our path from day one.

Still, nothing prepares you for certain moments in life. Our son was just a baby when he developed these stubborn, angry rashes: red, inflamed, constantly itching. We tried everything: creams, prescriptions, advice from every direction. Nothing worked. Watching him suffer like that…. it shook us. As first-time parents, we felt completely lost.

That's when something from my childhood came back: Dasapushpam oil. My father, who's an Ayurvedic physician like his father before him, had always spoken of its importance in infant care. We couldn't find a version we trusted, so with his help and a team of doctors, we decided to make it ourselves. We went back to the old Ayurvedic texts, to the original way it was done, with no shortcuts or substitutions.

The results were quiet, but powerful. The redness started fading. The itching eased. Slowly, the rash cleared. No steroids, no harsh chemicals. Just something that worked the way it was always meant to.

That moment didn't start our mission. Aarshaveda was never meant to be just another wellness brand. It's a commitment: to honor Ayurveda the way it was meant to be practiced, with care, with integrity, and with a deep respect for the people we serve.

A Legacy We Almost Walked Away From

Both my grandfathers were respected Ayurvedic physicians. Dr K G K Panicker was the founder of one of the most renowned Ayurveda companies – Kerala Ayurveda Pharmacy Limited (KAPL), currently Kerala Ayurveda Ltd. My maternal grandfather, Govindan Vaidyar, has a lineage of seven generations of famous Ayurveda Physicians of Vallomparambath Panickassery Tharavad. Brought up under the influence of such a great heritage of authentic Ayurveda, it was natural for me to believe in this age-old science and its traditions.

Ayurveda was not just tradition, it was a way of life. Yet, like many from my generation, I chose a different path: finance, numbers, spreadsheets. I joined my father's company, one originally built by my grandfather, and spent eight years there learning not just how to make medicine, but how to build a business.

Sitting at a desk, I felt hollow. I walked away, back to Bangalore, back to the family clinics, back to the slow, sacred work of healing. There were no job titles. I did everything: scheduled appointments, spoke to patients, restocked shelves. Slowly, Ayurveda stopped being an inherited legacy. It became a calling.

Building Aarshaveda, Together

While I immersed myself in the roots of our tradition, Parvathy, my wife, held the fort financially. She returned to her audit job so I could pursue this dream. Not once did she ask for recognition.

Years later in 2024, she joined Aarshaveda full-time and built its backbone. From SOPs to people practices, from inventory systems to culture, she transformed a passion project into a brand for the long haul.

We both made a promise: We would expand, but never at the expense of our values.
Building Together

One Brand, Two Streams

As our journey grew, so did the needs of our customers. We realised that modern families needed Ayurveda that could keep up: simple, safe, on-the-go solutions. That is when we created a second identity:

  • Aarshaveda: Traditional, time-honoured Ayurvedic formulations
  • Nature's Veda: Modern dosage formats, same roots, for today's pace

Both backed by the same integrity, same legacy — just tailored to how life is lived now.

Our Journey in Milestones
2015
Began exports and private labelling of products; launched Chyavanprash.
Got Ayush Manufacturing Licence (Karnataka), Import Export Licence, USDA & India Organic certifications.
2016
Aarshaveda is officially registered. Launched Dasapushpam Baby Oil.
Received 14 proprietary licences from Telangana Ayush board.
2017
Baby Oil became #1 bestseller on Amazon India.
Selected as an Amazon Success Story Brand.
2018–2020
Expanded consulting and product development.
Supported brands like Eastern Condiments, Haeal Pharma, Iron Kettle, Harrisons Malayalam (RPG), Vedic Tiger.
2021
Entered Australia, UK, Malaysia.
2022
White-label manufacturing for 4 global wellness brands.
2023
Opened The Sacred Lotus, an Ayurveda boutique hospital in Fort Kochi.
2024
